HISTORY – DATES – FACTS

Founded in 1981 in Leichlingen, Rhineland, we are now one of Europe’s leading suppliers of air curtain systems for doors and gates. Steady growth led us to relocate our production facility from Leichlingen to the neighboring town of Langenfeld in 2005. In 2010, we also moved into our current, expanded production and administrative building here, from which we distribute our “Made in Germany” products worldwide. Our commitment to maintaining our presence in the Rhineland and, consequently, safeguarding local jobs is the reason we have always remained loyal to our region.

- Merger of TEKADOOR with TTL, a manufacturer of air curtain systems.
- Expansion of the product portfolio to include former TTL air curtain systems.
- The former TTL building in Winterbach will be taken over as a TEKADOOR location.
Change of Ownership (2011) 2011
- Since 2011, TEKADOOR has been part of the Swedish Systemair Group, an international corporation with subsidiaries in 49 countries, 23 production facilities, and approximately 4,900 employees.
Relocation (2005) June 2005
- Relocation of the production facility from Leichlingen to larger premises in the neighboring town of Langenfeld.
