Dual EC ist das Vorzeigemodell für moderne Shop- und Retailflächen. Überall dort, wo nur begrenzte Heizenergie zur Verfügung steht und diese gezielt eingesetzt werden muss, bietet das System eine besonders effiziente Lösung für den Eingangsbereich.

Das Besondere an Dual EC ist das Prinzip der zwei getrennten Luftströme, bezeichnet auch als Dualtechnologie. Im Geräteinneren erzeugen zwei Ventilatorreihen einen äußeren, nicht erwärmten Luftstrom und einen inneren, erwärmten Luftstrom. Diese getrennte Luftführung bleibt bis zum Luftaustritt erhalten. Der ungeheizte äußere Luftstrom stabilisiert das gesamte Strömungsverhalten, steigert die Wurfweite und optimiert die Abschirmung im Türbereich.

Die Montage erfolgt durch auf der Geräteoberseite eingelassene Nietmuttern (M8) und optional erhältliches Montagematerial. In der Standardausführung braucht das Gerät für den Elektroanschluss nicht geöffnet werden. Anschlussklemmen für die Spannungsversorgung sowie die Steckverbindungen für das Schaltgerät und den Parallelbetrieb sind von außen zugänglich.

  • Inspection panel bolted in place behind the intake grille.
  • Doppelte, aerodynamisch optimierte Alu-Ausblaslamellen (natur eloxiert), 5-fach verstellbar und mit der Geräteunterseite bündig abschließend.
  • Ansauggitter (im Gerätefarbton) aus Lochblech mit dahinterliegendem Mikrogitter als Ansaugfilter.

Easy-to-maintain cleaning (micro-grille) without opening the unit—simply vacuum the intake grille. A blind-bolted and secured access panel (hinged on one side) on the underside of the unit is easy to open for maintenance work.

Heat exchangers available for various heating media:

DHW: For low-temperature DHW 60/40; other temperatures available upon request.
DX: DX coils brazed under nitrogen for use with heat pumps (heating mode only). High-quality heat exchangers made of copper tubing, with press-fitted, extra-strong aluminum fins.

TEKADOOR CAT Electronic Multifunctional Control System

  • A 20-meter pre-assembled, shielded data cable is included as standard with devices equipped with PWW and electric heating.
  • The 5-stage CAT control system includes a manual/automatic mode and a summer/winter switch as standard features.
  • A weekly timer with a timer function can be optionally implemented using enable contacts. For winter operation, a solenoid valve rated up to 2.5 A can be optionally connected.
  • With the CAT control system, the airflow can be manually adjusted in 5 steps, and the heating output—which, in the case of electric heating, depends on the fan speed—can be manually adjusted in 3 steps.
  • An enable contact and potential-free operating and fault signals are available for control via a customer-supplied BMS or DDC.
  • Up to 10 devices can be connected in parallel in a master-slave configuration.
  • On-site control via a ModBus interface is also possible.

Die einzeln angetriebenen EC-Ventilatoren mit integriertem Motorschutz sind doppelseitig ansaugend, vibrationsfrei gelagert und werden durch ein PWM – Signal (Pulsweitenmodulation) angesteuert.
