The thermostatic flow valve is used to limit the discharge temperature in air curtains with water-cooled heating coils. It ensures a constant supply air temperature limit and helps keep the discharged air within a defined and comfortable temperature range.
The adjustment range is between +20 °C and +35 °C. This allows the desired maximum air outlet temperature to be adjusted to suit the specific application. This is particularly useful in situations where a uniform airflow is required and excessively high air outlet temperatures must be avoided. In this way, the valve improves thermal comfort in the entryway and supports controlled, demand-based heating operation.
Thermostatic valve solutions for air curtain applications operate without auxiliary power and enable constant supply air temperature control via a thermostatic control unit with a capillary tube and sensor. Depending on the model, the sensor may be pre-installed in the air curtain or provided separately for installation. Three-way models are also available.
Thanks to its constant temperature control, the thermostatic flow-through valve is particularly well-suited for applications where a stable air temperature, a comfortable indoor climate, and efficient operation of the heating coil are priorities.
