Consists of an industrially galvanized, self-supporting sheet steel housing with an intake grille and duct connection flange, an exhaust duct with a connector and integrated exhaust louvers. All visible parts are powder-coated in a standard RAL color according to the client’s specifications; the parapet trim is available in RAL or, optionally, in stainless steel. The access opening can be located at the bottom or top.

The efficiency of the EC fans used by Tekadoor is >90% under partial load, which is approximately 30–35% higher than that of conventional AC fans. This not only increases efficiency but also reduces operating costs. The individually driven EC fans with integrated motor protection feature double-sided intake, are mounted on vibration-free bearings, and are controlled by a PWM (pulse width modulation) signal. They not only comply with the ErP Directive but actually exceed this standard.

Easy-to-maintain cleaning of the intake grille without opening the unit—simply by vacuuming. The access panel can be completely removed for maintenance work.

Revolving doors bring in cold outside air with every rotation. This causes a “cold spot” to form on the floor immediately behind the revolving door, especially at high-traffic entrances. By using our Rondell EC air curtain system—which features an integrated air outlet specifically adapted to the door’s radius—the spread of cold air is prevented, and the recirculated air is heated to room temperature. This results in a comfortable indoor climate in the entrance area. The Rondell EC air curtain is always custom-designed to fit the existing or planned revolving door, with the air outlet—featuring integrated louvers—adapted to the door’s radius.

DHW: for standard-temperature DHW 70/50°C and low-temperature DHW 60/40°C; other temperatures available upon request.
DX: DX coils brazed under nitrogen for use with heat pumps (heating mode only). High-quality heat exchangers made of copper tubing, with press-fitted, extra-strong aluminum fins.
ELEKTRO: 3-stage 400V heat exchanger, spiral-shaped and corrosion-resistant, with thermal overheating protection and a run-on circuit.

Easy installation thanks to recessed M 8 rivet nuts, located at the top or on the sides (4 per side). Accessories for mounting on the revolving door (surface-mounted unit) consisting of 2 square tubes and a set of screws.

TEKADOOR CAT Electronic Multifunctional Control System

• A 20-meter pre-assembled, shielded data cable is included as standard with devices equipped with PWW and electric heating.
• The 5-stage CAT control system includes a manual/automatic mode and a summer/winter switch as standard features.
• A weekly timer with a timer function can be implemented optionally using enable contacts.
• For winter operation, a solenoid valve rated up to 2.5 A can be connected (optional).
• With the CAT control system, the airflow can be manually adjusted in 5 steps, and the heating output—which, in the case of electric heating, depends on the fan speed—can be manually adjusted in 3 steps.
• An enable contact and potential-free operating and fault signals are available for control via a customer-supplied BMS or DDC.
• Up to 10 devices can be connected in parallel in a master-slave configuration.
• On-site control via a ModBus interface is also possible.
