The thermoelectric shut-off valve is used for automatic control of the heating water circuit in water-heated air curtains. It is actuated automatically by an expansion element in conjunction with a compression spring. This ensures that the heating water flow is reliably opened or closed depending on the operating condition.
During summer operation or when the air curtain is shut down, the heating water circuit is closed. This reduces unnecessary heat loss, prevents unintended heating of the unit, and promotes energy-efficient system operation. Thanks to its automatic shut-off function, the valve is particularly well-suited for applications that require reliable isolation of the heating coil when the system is not in heating mode.
To ensure reliable operation, we recommend using this product in combination with an antifreeze thermostat and a strainer. The antifreeze thermostat protects the heating coil from critical temperature conditions, while the strainer protects the valve and other components in the heating water circuit from contaminants. This helps improve the performance, operational reliability, and service life of the entire system. A compatible frost protection thermostat is available as an accessory.
